Our presenter this month will be club program director Ben Sasiela VA3BNY who will be giving a presentation on Hidden HF Signals.
Ben is a graduate of the Brantford Collegiate Institute and has taken many University courses related to electronics and communications applying his trade to Bell Canada where, prior to his recent retirement he spent the last 32 years of his working career. Prior to his retirement, Ben held a management position with responsibilities in residential and Business Communication Technology as well as Network maintenance and design. Ben is married with two children, and had been involved with Amateur Radio during the latter part of his career. At Monday's meeting we will see a demonstration on weather fax reception from HF sets, as well as listening to aircraft position reporting, automated broadcasts, and atmospheric updates in both voice and data formats from Canadian and U.S. Coast Guard stations.... Theme for April Meeting "SHOW AND TELL" KWARC is looking for members who have a home brew project that they would like to share with the rest of the membership. So if you have a home-brew project no matter how simple or complex, contact Ben VA3BNY at Monday's meeting.
