        Paul Cassel, VE3SY started off with an IRLP report. We now have access
        to IRLP on VHF, simply tune to 147.580 simplex, PL 131.8, this is not a
        reflector but rather a 30 watt simplex base radio. Paul also explained
        that IRLP is being transmitted on the internet on www.Live365.com
        , 24hrs a day, 7 days per week. You can of course access IRLP on 444.875
        PL 131.8 as well. 
         
        Bob Mckie, VA3MCK, last years President thanked Paul on a personal level
        for all his time and hard work making this new technology perform as
        smooth as it does. Thank you Paul. 
         
        Dave Schwartz, VA3DGS, KWARC Treasurer gave a financial statement: we
        are $3,000 ahead of the game. 
         
        Dave Johnson, VA3MRJ, Program Director, motioned the auto patch be
        "open", all were in favour of this change and he briefly
        described the upcoming years line up. 
         
        Bill Graham, VE3ETK, Vice President, asked if we as a whole could get
        support for Field Day up a notch or two. We'll have to work on
        supporting this request. 
         
        Ron Gravelle, VA3TVS, CANWARN Co-ordinator thanked all who supported the
        "outbreak" on July 4th, we had 7 confirmed tornadoes and all
        spotters did a fantastic job. Thank you all spotters. 
         
        Ben Sasiela, VA3BNY, gave a tech report. The NASA link is on 147.510
        simplex. Anyone with a VHF radio can listen to recent launches. KSR has
        a full back-up radio, just in case.

        This was followed by the members and guests introducing themselves, with a total of around 75 attending this evening. 
        Dave Johnson, VE3MRJ, program chairman introduced Ron Gravelle, VA3TVS our secretary and one of this night's guest speakers who also introduced fellow storm chasers George Kourounis VA3GTK, Jack Kertzie (Buffalo, NY), Dave Patrick, Mark Robinson and Ron's brother -in-law, Ben Fuller. 
         We were treated to an outstanding presentation of pictures from "Tornado Alley" in the middle of the U.S.A. all the way up to central Ontario taken by our guests. The power and magnificence of nature was incredibly obvious. This was followed by attendees getting into a very interesting and involved question and answer period. 
        At 8:40 Dennis called for a coffee break, while in the break period Jack Kertzie's tornado video was running for all to watch. 
        Terry Green VE3NSV won this night's 50/50 draw, a sum of $25. 
        Ben, VA3BNY, Tech Director brought us up to date with the repeater fixes and told everyone that the auto patch will now be "open" to all members on KSR and
        RCK. 
        Roger Sanderson, VE3RKS, made an announcement about the car rally in Paris on September 28th to the 30th.  He is asking for volunteers to help with radio communications. 
        Hugh Baird, VE3IYG, reported on the Flea Market, resulting in a total of $1,389.46 for KWARC. Hugh thanked all members who directly and non-directly helped at the flee market.  
        Dave Schwartz, VA3DGS, Treasurer reported that due to strong membership support we are coming in at around $3,000. 
        Vern Stroud,VE3RVS, chief examiner, told us that we had 27 examinations with a very high success rate. He also went to Fergus to examine a group because their examiner was ill. 
        Larry Gorman, VE3LGN, gave us a brief update on packet.
