This is a shot of the equipment used at the VE3KSR APRS digipeater station. On the left is the weather station control unit which outputs packet-mode data directly to the Kantronics KPC3 (v8.2 f/w). Below the TNC is a GE Phoenix VHF transceiver operating at 25 watts on 144.390MHz.
